Project Update April 14, 2017

Project Update April 14, 2017
The VCMC Hospital Replacement Wing is about to achieve a new milestone. The
Contractor has been working hard in order to achieve the goal of obtaining Temporary
Certificate of Occupancy (TCO). We anticipate receiving TCO by the end of April 2017.
Achieving this goal will allow VCMC to begin installing furniture and equipment, start
training staff and prepare for State licensing reviews.

During this last push to achieve TCO, there may be a need for Contractor activities to
extend beyond the normal working hours. Work activities may rarely occur after 6 PM, but
not after 7 PM. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our surrounding
neighbors and thank you for your support during this exciting stage of the project.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Matt Ehret at 805.652.3268.

Contractor Parking Lot Improvements

Contractor Parking Lot Improvements

There will be minor construction activity on County property to grade the temporary contractor parking and staging area in support of the Hospital Replacement Wing project on Saturday, January 21st.

There will be some construction related noise from earth moving equipment for grading and the installation of gravel.  All work will be done within the Work Zone shown in the graphic below.  Dust control measures, such as wetting of materials, will be implemented during all earth moving activities.  Staff use of the trailers will be limited to the work day.

The working hours for this construction work are between the hours of 9am and 5pm.
